Terms of Service

These are the ground rules for using Instinct. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Here's the gist:

Instinct is a dating app for adults. You must be at least 18. By using Instinct you confirm you're 18 or older, that you can enter into a contract, and that nothing in the law stops you from using it. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the app.

• Give accurate details and keep your login secure.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• One account per person, and it's yours alone to use.
• Don't create an account for someone else or under a fake age.

Instinct is for real connection between consenting adults. Don't use it to:

• harass, threaten, hate on, or impersonate anyone;
• post illegal content or anything involving minors;
• solicit money, advertise escort or commercial services, scam, or spam;
• share someone's private content without their consent;
• scrape the app, use bots, or try to break or abuse it.

Break these and we may remove content, suspend you, or ban you for good.

Child sexual abuse or exploitation has absolutely no place on Instinct. We remove it, ban the people responsible, and report to the authorities and relevant organizations. If you ever see something that harms a child, report it in the app or email hello@instinctdate.app right away.

Instinct helps you meet people, but we don't run background checks, and a verified badge only confirms someone is a real person. You're responsible for your own choices and safety. Chat inside the app until you're comfortable, meet in a public place, tell a friend your plans, and trust your instinct. If something feels off, it's okay to leave.

You own what you post. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and show it so the app can work, and you confirm you have the right to share it. You're responsible for your own content.

Everything else, the Instinct app, name, and branding, belongs to us. You can use Instinct for your own personal, non-commercial dating, and nothing more.

Instinct is free to download. Optional upgrades like Plus and Prime are billed through your app store and renew automatically until you cancel. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple or Google account settings. Because the app stores handle the payment, they also handle refunds under their own rules. Prices shown on our site are examples and can vary by region.

You can delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, put others at risk, or where the law requires it, sometimes immediately. If we do, the rules that should outlast your account (like content licenses and liability) still apply.

Instinct is provided “as is.” We can't guarantee how other members behave or how any match turns out. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or knock-on losses from your use of the app. If you break these terms and it costs us, you agree to cover those costs. None of this limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Instinct is operated by Juri Novikov in the Republic of Estonia, and these terms are governed by Estonian law. If you live somewhere with mandatory consumer protections, like the EU, UK, or your US state, those still apply and nothing here takes them away.

We may update these terms as Instinct or the law changes, and we'll flag anything important before it takes effect. Keep using Instinct and you accept the updated terms.
